Year: 2024
Format: 360 virtual tour

Thanks to LMDDC's innovative 360 Tour Tool, exploring new worlds, diving into history and experiencing the far corners of the globe has never been easier for educators and students. Designed specifically with teachers in mind, this user-friendly tool enables the creation of immersive virtual tours enriched with interactive points of interest (POIs). Whether viewed on mobile devices, computers, or virtual reality headsets, these tours offer engaging, accessible educational experiences for everyone. Many existing tools are complex, time-consuming, or costly, barriers that prevent educators from adopting them widely. LMDDC’s solution addresses this by focusing on ease of use and accessibility, ensuring that educational value is not compromised by technical obstacles.

Simplicity and accessibility were central to LMDDC’s mission in developing the 360 Tour Tool. Available completely free on Skilltech.tools, the platform collects free to use tools for users of all technical levels to quickly create interactive virtual tours, host videos securely in Luxembourg, share content, enhance their demonstrations and many more. In the 360 Tour Tool teachers can mark and annotate POIs within panoramic images, guiding students visually through locations they otherwise might never visit, making complex or distant concepts more tangible and understandable.

With this tool, teachers can unlock the doors to the previously unseen or unreachable, transforming abstract lessons into vivid, interactive journeys. Students are empowered to learn in a more immersive manner, exploring historical sites, distant countries, scientific laboratories, or even the depths of outer space.

Additionally, the intuitive nature of the tool encourages students to create and share their own virtual journeys, fostering creativity, research skills, and deeper engagement.
