The TRUSTex project (Transform European Textile Waste Management Through Innovation) was launched at the start of 2025, with the LMDDC joining as partner.
Led by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and funded by the European Commission's Horizon Europe programme and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, TRUSTex brings together 19 partners from 10 EU countries to advance sustainable textiles through innovative Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes.
Over the next three years, the LMDDC will contribute to capacity building activities for businesses, in particular SMEs, as well as policy makers to facilitate the adoption and effective implementation of sustainable practices and ensure compliance with evolving EPR schemes.
