Game for Fairness - training the trainers
Client: INAPS
Year: 2023
Format: Interactive game with gamified editable quizzes
Tools: Unity, Gamtred

Fairplay Sprint is a gamified training tool developed by LMDDC in cooperation with INAPS, designed to support equal opportunities training through interactive gameplay. The game runs on multiple platforms and is integrated with the Gamtred authoring tool. This makes it accessible to learners across devices while combining fast-paced competition with meaningful learning moments.

In the game, players compete in a race against virtual opponents, overcoming obstacles while interacting with other characters. These interactions reflect choices between fairness and self-promotion, influencing two types of points: Race Points (RP) and Fairplay Points (FP). The final score combines both performance and ethical decision-making, and learners can unlock training content through a badge system tied to their FP total.

Each badge contains short learning activities, ranging from informational texts to interactive quizzes, embedded directly into the game. This structure allows players to gradually explore key topics related to equal opportunities, with content in multiple languages. Learners training progress is tracked and visualized in an admin panel for trainers.

Fairplay Sprint demonstrates how game-based learning can support professional development in a simple, engaging way. By focusing on user experience and measurable outcomes, LMDDC and INAPS provide a flexible tool that complements traditional training formats while encouraging active participation.
