On 7 October, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., the EdTech Track organised by the Luxembourg Media and Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) as part of the Open Source Conference will bring together international experts in Belval to showcase projects shaping the future of education.

Open source is gradually gaining ground in schools, universities and training organisations. More than an alternative to proprietary software, it offers a different vision of digital technology: more open, collaborative and sovereign.

Over the course of four hours, experts from across Europe will show that the education of tomorrow is already being built today. Artificial intelligence, open-source software, digital commons, data and digital sovereignty: through concrete projects and real-world experiences, they will explore how open technologies can transform the way we learn, teach and share knowledge — paving the way for education that is more open, collaborative and free.
